Limassol creates its first 360⁰ Virtual Reality video

The Limassol Tourism Board, aiming to promote Limassol and make travelers aware of the exquisite experience it has to offer, created a virtual reality video called “Limassol – 365 Days Active”.The video includes some of the most exciting events in Limassol, such as the yearly carnival, the marathon and the 3 on 3 basketball tournament. It also showcases the Limassol Marina, the Old Port and the seaside area of Molos. The total viewing time is 3 minutes, giving the viewer the chance to watch shots from any angle chosen as if he/she is really there.
The purpose of the virtual reality video is for travelers to experience Limassol from their home and enjoy a taste of what Limassol has to offer, through the ultimate experience of a virtual trip. Viewers can feel the pulse of Limassol and connect emotionally with the natural beauties and the people, as a teaser to come and visit the destination.
This is the first of a series of virtual reality videos to follow. The aim of the Limassol Tourism Board is to promote these videos online as well as with a ‘VR headset stand’ at promotional events, tourism fairs, to groups of journalists and travel agents as well as the public.
