Pelais Wealth was established in 2015 to provide guidance and alternative solutions for money management. Founder and CEO, Chrysovalantis Georgiou recognised the need to bring light on money management techniques following the 2013 banking crisis in Cyprus. This was during a time where people became cautious and wary of traditional financial products/services and this helped increase the willingness to look for alternative solutions.

In the beginning of its business activities, Pelais’ Wealth products were focused on personal financial solutions. “To this day, we are able to offer intermediary financial services through Pelais’ network of international affiliates”, says Georgiou, mentioning that the biggest challenge the company faced was to overcome the fear people had when dealing with their finances. Fear is frequently correlated with lack of knowledge, education or lack of perspective.
“We have since fine-tuned our offers to meet the market’s demand. Currently, we offer three services to help increase financial literacy levels as well as introduce saving and budgeting skills”, says Georgiou. These services also include one-on-one financial coaching, intermediary services to savings and investment solutions as well as financial education seminars to small groups and businesses.
