The Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as part of its ongoing contacts, convened a meeting with all the mayors of Limassol to discuss issues affecting the city and district of Limassol. During this highly productive meeting, there was a strong consensus between the business community and local authorities, where it was decided to prioritize the issues concerning Limassol in order to promote projects and actions for its developmental strengthening, as well as to address the problems affecting the city and its residents.
It was also decided to shape a clear vision for Limassol and to actively seek the resources and projects the city urgently needs from the government. Despite the fact that Limassol is the engine of the Cypriot economy, successive announcements of government development projects have notably left Limassol out.
A comprehensive meeting is scheduled for January 24 at the Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry building, with the mayors and members of parliament of Limassol, as well as other local stakeholders, to ensure better coordination of actions and to outline the collective strategy to be followed.
