The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, continuing its efforts for the necessary maintenance and upgrading of the Tsirion stadium, convened a special meeting on January 31, with the participation of MPs, the Deputy Mayor of Limassol, the President and members of the GSO Board of Directors and the President of KOEAS, in order to review the situation and make decisions for the future.
The attendees unanimously agreed to take initiatives to break the prolonged deadlock with a view to the long-awaited implementation of the upgrade, so that the Tsirion Stadium will once again become a reference point of the city by upgrading the sports infrastructure of Limassol.
It was decided to arrange a meeting, in the very near future, with the new Board of Directors of the Cyprus Sports Organisation (CSO), stressing at the same time that non-maintenance and/or indefinite postponement of the required works is not an option.
