The inauguration of the upgraded Paediatric Department of Limassol General Hospital took place recently, in the presence of the Minister of Health Popi Kanari, MPs, Limassol Chamber President Andreas Tsouloftas and other officials.
The new department, named after the late paediatrician and great humanist Americos Argyriou, was created on the initiative of paediatrician Argyris Argyriou and Limassol MP Fotini Tsiridou, in collaboration with the Cyprus Health Organization and with the active participation of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, whose members generously contributed to the whole effort, both in cash and in kind.
The new, renovated Pediatric Clinic "Americos Argyriou" is fully specialized, staffed and equipped to provide high quality services to children who need hospitalization.
