Again this year, as in all previous years, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Limassol extended financial assistance to charitable organizations in the city and district of Limassol. During a short, modest ceremony that took place at the LCCI offices in early January, the President of the Chamber Andreas Tsouloftas referred to the great work carried out by the charitable institutions, with the aim of supporting our fellow human beings in need, highlighting the selfless effort of the people involved and their dedication to this noble goal. The Chamber, Mr. Tsouloftas continued, cannot but support this effort, which it will continue to do, in the years to come.
On their part, the representatives of the institutions, after briefly presenting their fields of activity and the challenges they face, thanked the Chamber for its long-term support. In the meantime, the social face of the Chamber has recently, just before the festive season of Christmas, extended to another area too, with a contribution in kind to the Limassol Municipality Food Bank, with food and other necessities contributed by the members as well as the LCCI staff.
