The Chamber Business Barometer (Spring 2022) remains open for participation by all member companies. The deadline for participation is May 18 when the processing of the results will get under way. The findings of the present Barometer are awaited with particular interest as this is the first edition after the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian war crisis and its concomitant economic reverberations at a global level. Like previous versions of the Barometer, this one contains questions about the main problems currently faced by companies, their intentions in terms of employment and investment, energy costs and other relevant issues.
A special question on the effects of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis on the Cypriot economy and entrepreneurship is also included, as well as a question on issues related to the European goal for Environmental Neutrality. The full, detailed findings of the Spring 2022 Barometer, along with comparisons with both Autumn and Spring 2021 and accompanied by relevant charts, are expected within June and they will be posted on the Chamber website.
