The 58th Annual General Meeting of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry will take place on Thursday, October 29. The Meeting, which is electoral this year as it marks the end of the term of the Board under President Costas Galatariotis, will be limited to the closed session (members only), as the health protocols in force due to the COVID-19 pandemic do not allow the well-known for years official part and reception with the participation of dozens of government and other officials.
The closed session of the Meeting will include, in addition to the approval of the Annual Report and the Financial Statements for 2019, a concise report by the outgoing Chamber president, with reference to the many initiatives and actions taken in the last six years, in support of members and entrepreneurship, the promotion of the development and other needs of Limassol at city and district level, and the upgrading of the Chamber building complex infrastructure. The election of the new Board of Directors for the three years 2020-23 will follow. The new Board which will then meet in its first session in order to be formed in a body, with the election President, Vice-Presidents and Honorary Secretary.
