The largest mall in Cyprus, My Mall Limassol plans to expand significantly in 2018, expanding the stores and brands it hosts. More specifically, the ‘My Mall Limassol’ is expected to expand this year by 4,500 - 6,000 sq.m. on the west side of the building. The application is being examined by the Limassol Municipality while the ‘My Mall Limassol’ is in consultation with the Municipality on the extent and type of expansion, with the aim of implementing it in 2018, after obtaining the necessary permits.
The current building of the mall, is built on land of 104,000 sq.m. It has 112 shops, 17 dining venues and 3 entertainment venues. Out of a total of 132 businesses, 89 are on the ground floor, 40 on the first floor and the other 3 at the basement of the mall.
According to sources, ‘My Mall Limassol’ hosted 4,800,000 visitors in 2017. At the same time, the shopping center’s traffic rose 10% in 2017 compared to 2015. In more detail, traffic increased by 4% in 2016 compared to 2015, while an increase of 6% was recorded in 2017 compared to 2016.
