Indicative of the interest of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry in issues pertaining to research and innovation was the recent signing of a Cooperation  Protocol between the Chamber and the European Business Support Centre Cyprus, represented  by the Research Promotion Foundation (RPF).

The protocol, signed at the Chamber offices by LCCI President Costas Galatariotis and RPF General Manager Dr. Vassilis Tsakalos, provides, among others, for bilateral cooperation on issues relating to information sharing and joint activities and events on the Pentakomo Science and Technology Park.

The two sides also agreed to launch a joint effort to publicize the services they offer, which could be of interest to high-tech companies and organisations, to hold joint lectures and seminars, and to disseminate research, innovation and entrepreneurship-related information, in addition to their joint participation in conferences and other events related to international networking.
