During the second half of 2025 (July–December), the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), through a combination of advertising and communication tools, continued to make a substantial contribution to the promotion of both the European project CMMI – MaRITeC-X and the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI).
Communication activities at both local and nationwide level were based on the publication of articles, reports, actions and partnership announcements with a strong focus on issues related to marine life protection, sustainable development, ocean literacy and professional opportunities within the blue economy. Through targeted dissemination of information to businesses, students, educators, institutional bodies and government officials, the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry significantly strengthened the visibility of the project.
It is noted that the CMMI – MaRITeC-X project is funded with a total budget of €30 million, of which €15 million is provided by the European Union and €15 million by the Republic of Cyprus, with the aim of developing new marine infrastructure and strengthening the marine economy in Cyprus.
