A highly successful information seminar dedicated to the Tourism Sector was organised by the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in collaboration with the European Digital Innovation Hub of Cyprus (DiGiNN).
Professionals and businesses active in the wider tourism sector took part in the seminar, including hotels and accommodation providers, hospitality and catering businesses, travel agencies, as well as tourism service providers. Participants had the opportunity to be informed about modern technological solutions and innovative tools that can be utilised through DiGiNN, aiming at digital upgrading, enhanced competitiveness, and the sustainable development of their businesses.
The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a consistent and long-standing supporter of the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, actively participates in the European DiGiNN programme, in cooperation with the CCCI and local Chambers. It should be noted that the DiGiNN project was selected by the European Commission to establish Cyprus’s European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), within the framework of the “Digital Europe” Programme.
It is also worth noting that the new DiGiNN 2.0 proposal has recently been approved for funding, a development that confirms the importance and strong potential of the project, further enhancing its capacity to support Cypriot businesses in their digital and technological transformation.
