Meeting with the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI)
A productive meeting with the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI), focused on exchanging new ideas and strategies related to the ongoing activities and initiatives of both organizations for the European project MaRITeC-X, in which the LCCI participates as a partner.
Meeting with Limassol MPs
The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry convened a meeting with the city’s Members of Parliament to discuss issues concerning the city and district of Limassol. During the meeting, it was agreed to organize a broader conference that will include not only Members of Parliament but also Mayors, the President of the Limassol District Local Government Organisation (EΟΑ), the Cyprus University of Technology, and the Union of Cyprus Communities. In the next phase, meetings will be scheduled with government Ministers, with the participation of all local stakeholders. The meeting at the Limassol Chamber was attended by Members of Parliament Fotini Tsiridou, Nikos Sykas, Andreas Kafkalias, Kostas Kostas, Marina Nikolaou, and Panikos Leonidou, as well as an LCCI delegation comprising of President Andreas Tsouloftas, Vice Presidents Anthi Theocharous and George Demetriou, Honorary Secretary Liakos Theodorou, and Board Member Charalambos Pattichis.
Meeting with the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Directorate-General for the Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture
The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held a meeting with Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Directorate-General for the Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mrs. Tofa-Christidou, accompanied by a group of her associates in order to further strengthen their cooperation.
