The Limassol Chamber faces challenges of the Supply Chain in a Roundtable Discussion

On March 14, the Limassol Chamber organized an event on the supply chain, a core theme of the business world. The event was a continuation of a conference hosted by the World Trade Center, which had recently taken place in Limassol with the participation of delegates from many foreign countries. Limassol Chamber participated in this event with discussions and presentations conducted by members and associates of the Chamber.

During the discussion, where many LCCI members participated as well as students, the challenges that companies constantly face in the supply chain area were analysed. The requirements for continuous adaptation and innovation as well as finding solutions were discussed, with the aim of creating a flexible, resilient and sustainable supply chain, that will contribute to the facilitation of trade and entrepreneurship.

The discussion was interesting with the participants gaining a lot from the experiences and knowledge of the professionals in the field. The discussion was moderated by Mrs. Lina Ellina, Coordinator of the Supply Chain Management and Maritime Studies Program at MIEEK and discussants were Ms. Loukiana Vatti, Group Supply Chain Manager and Logistico Facility Manager, at RPT Group, Mr. Gregoris Gregoriou, IT Manager, at Island Oil (Holdings) Ltd, Mr. Stavros Fokas Kavalierakis, MIEEK Maritime Studies Instructor and ICS President of Cyprus and Mr. Konstantinos Chrysikopoulos Chief Operating Officer of Kazoulis Global Logistics Ltd and President of the Board of Directors KYFEAS.
