The unique selling points of the Limassol region as a tourist destination were highlighted during a presentation organized by the Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company in collaboration with local luxury hotels, in Manchester, UK.
Limassol region was presented by the General Manager of the Limassol Tourism Board Mrs. Maria Stylianou Michaelidou, highlighting the beauties and experiences the area has to offer. The luxury hotels Amathus, Four Seasons, Parklane, St. Raphael, Amara, Mediterranean and City of Dreams Mediterranean impressed with their presentations showcasing the high level of comfort, technology, design and quality personalized service offered, which makes Limassol a tourist destination for premium travelers.
Tourism professionals who attended were offered gift bags containing promotional material and presents from Cyprus. They also had the chance to be the lucky winners of prize draws for luxury accommodation packages offered by Limassol hotels.
Promotional efforts will continue in United Kingdom with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, with a promotional event in London (1st of February) and participation in the London Destinations tourist expo (1-4 February), aiming to promote Limassol as a favorite coastal all-year-round destination.
