The Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company, as part of its promotional program, participated on February 14 and 15 in the Tel Aviv tourist exhibition.
The Israeli market is very important for the Limassol region and has been on the rise in recent years. In addition to tourist arrivals, Limassol attracts a significant number of investors from Israel who wish to become active in the international business environment that the city offers.
During the IMTM 2023 exhibition, meetings were held with travel agents and nine travel bloggers who were particularly interested in promoting Limassol to their thousands of followers. At the end of the exhibition, the bloggers Liat Lavi and Galit Kedar were invited to Limassol, who lived the experience of the Limassol Carnival at the peak of the celebrations as well as during Lent. The four-day visit left the two travel bloggers impressed, who are preparing a series of articles in Hebrew with the aim of promoting the destination for adventure and family vacations.
At the same time, there is already a collaboration for the period of February – April with Bike Panel of Israel, which is a platform for cyclists with 26,000 users per month. The platform promotes both the destination of Limassol and the cycling routes in the region with all the special features that distinguish them.
The messages for 2023 are optimistic and the Limassol Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company will continue its promotional efforts with a series of additional actions that is planning for the Israeli market.
