The Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company, aiming to upgrade and enrich special interest tourism, has mapped and recorded 10 new cycling routes. All routes are aimed at cyclists, experienced and amateurs, who want to explore the beauties of the province of Limassol. The ride goes through picturesque villages and gives the opportunity to locals and visitors to discover unique parts of the countryside. There are routes that highlight the villages of Koumandaria area, the wine villages and many more. Some of them are renowned for their architecture, others for their traditional delicacies or local arts. What is certain, is that each route hides surprises and promises experiences that will make every ride unforgettable.
Alternatively, there are also routes crossing coastal areas such as Ancient Amathus – Governor’s Beach – Pentakomo – Monagrouli – Pyrgos – Pareklisia. This route includes cycling on large white rocks next to the Mediterranean Sea enjoying a magnificent spectacle. The routes have different degrees of difficulty as well as distance, offering the cyclist the opportunity to choose the one that suits his/her capabilities.
