The arrival of the Swedish clothing chain H & M in Limassol was eagerly awaited by shopping enthusiasts. And its housing in the historic landmark of the former ESEL on Anexartisias street gives even greater impetus to the arrival of the fashion world giant in our city. The contract was signed about six months ago and provides for the lease of three levels of the property, covering an area of 1,500 square meters, specifically the basement, the ground floor and the mezzanine. The permit from the municipality of Limassol is expected to be granted this month, to start the static reinforcement works in the basement, with the aim of inaugurating the store in May 2021.
As stated to "Entrepreneurial Limassol" by the Limassol Market CEO, Panos Alexandrou, works will follow on the other floors with the aim of operating the Limassol Brown Hotel by the end of 2022. The design of the city hotel of 120 rooms, is implemented by the Prosperity group of companies, in collaboration with the international hotel chain Brown. The plans foresee the creation of a boutique hotel with the addition of another floor, with a panoramic lounge bar and swimming pool on the roof garden.
