Elections for the new Board of Directors of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry took place on November 1. A total of 28 candidates claimed one of the 20 seats on the Board of Directors, in what essentially an all-day electoral process, which took place outdoors, in the Chamber parking lot, to further contain any risks emanating from the COVID19 pandemic.
The elections took place under the supervision of a three-member Electoral Committee consisting of the Honorary President Yiannakis Christodoulou, former President Tony Antoniou and the immediate past President Costas Galatariotis. The counting of votes was completed in the evening of November 1 and the elected 20-member Board met in its first session the next day. On the agenda of this first session was the election of President, Vice Presidents and Honorary Secretary. Thus, the new Board consists of the following:
