Deputy Shipping Minister Natasa Pilides attended the latest meeting of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry Board.
Welcoming Ms. Pilides, Chamber President Costas Galatariotis praised the work that she and her colleagues had accomplished in the 12 months since the Shipping Deputy Ministry was set up, stressing the great importance of the shipping sector for the Cyprus economy.
On her part Ms. Pilides briefly took stock of the first year of the Deputy Ministry, of the actions undertaken and the very positive results that have been achieved both in terms of the registration of additional ships in the Cyprus Register and in relation to the general upgrading of the image of Cyprus shipping internationally.
