Ships of up to 7100 tones can now be serviced, in terms of maintenance in Limassol, as the ‘’ERENEOS’’flotating dock was formally inaugurated by Transport Minister, Vassiliki Anastasiadou. ‘’ERENEOS’’, owned and operated by Limassol-based Multimarine Shipyards, which specializes in the shipping and hydrocarbons industry in the Eastern Mediterranean, is especially designed to operate in an environment-friendly way.
The inauguration ceremony, which featured Bank of Cyprus CEO John Hourican as a keynote speaker (the Bank being a financial backers of the project), was also addressed Multimarine Shipyards Board member Angelos Fokas, who referred to the pioneering elements of ‘’ERENEOS’’ and its capacities in terms of supporting the shipping industry.
