12 companies, over 100 different beer labels, more than 10 food outlets and around 10,000 participants make up this year's Limassol Beer Festival. After last year's satisfactory attendance, the second event is expected to be even more dynamic, according to the organizers and the Mayor of Germasogeia. It will begin on Thursday, June 28, at 17:00, at the Germasogeia River and will last for four days - until Sunday 1 July.
"We hope that this year's festival will be even more entertaining and successful compared to the first one held last year," said Mayor of Germasogeia, Kyriakos Xydias, in Limassol Business, adding that the turnout is expected to reach 10,000. This year’s oganizers MSTASY Event Management Managing Director Tasos Anastasiou said this year's event will be upgraded as visitors will be able to choose between 100 different beer labels. At the same time, there will be more sitting areas for the public, as well as beer activities and games that will entertain the attendees. "While last year's festival had a three-day duration, this year's event will take four days to attract more visitors," said Mr. Anastasiou.
