The Russian Ambassador on the 26 April during the 5th conference the “Future of Cyprus for Russian Business” organized by Cyprus-Russian Business Association, Chryssafinis & Polyviou LLC and Boltenko Law expressed the conviction that there are indeed bright prospects for economic relations between Russia and Cyprus, and thanked Nicosia for its stance with regard to the ‘anti-Russia campaign led by some countries’.
During the conference the following topics we discussed: Cyprus today and tomorrow, private and corporate clients, trust and foundation, family offices and tax transparency. The conference was concluded by as a case study that focused on the most common scenarios of structuring ownership of international private an corporate assets for the Russian elite and discussed what needs to be done and what solutions will be popular.
