The Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) participated in the AI Cyprus EXPO two-day business-focused event with a shared booth promoting the European Digital Innovation Hub of Cyprus (DiGiNN).
Held in Limassol, the event focused on advancing the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence across key sectors in Cyprus. By bringing together business leaders, decision-makers, professionals, technology providers and academic institutions, the expo served as a platform for practical discussions on the role of AI in shaping future business operations, innovation and competitiveness.
The Limassol Chamber’s President, Mr. Andreas Tsouloftas, delivered the opening remarks, setting the tone for two days of innovation, collaboration, and real-world AI impact. Highlighting Cyprus’ growing role as a regional innovation hub, he emphasized the importance of bridging business needs with practical AI adoption, moving beyond hype and toward meaningful transformation.
DiGiNN is a one-stop-shop for all companies and public sector organisations, providing them an end-to-end experience in their digitisation journey. It is co-funded by the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) and the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy of the Republic of Cyprus through national funds. Coordinated by the Cyprus Institute, the consortium includes high-tech, research, and business-oriented entities such as CYENS, KIOS, Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), along with all local Chambers of Commerce.
Through DiGiNN, the Limassol Chamber aims to support the digital transformation of SMEs in the city and district of Limassol offering its members specialized knowledge in digitalisation and innovation. At the same time, it contributes to fostering a digital culture within society.
The DiGiNN 2.0 has been renewed and starting in October 2026.
