New high-standard communities are “growing” in the fertile valley of western Limassol

A surge of high-end residential developments is “sprouting” in the once fertile valley of western Limassol, now dominated by City of Dreams Mediterranean – Integrated Resort, Casino & Entertainment, transforming the area into a luxurious residential retreat. Limassol Greens, Cyprus’ highly anticipated golf resort, is making significant progress towards completing its first phase, marking a major milestone in the project’s development, according to information received by “Entrepreneurial Limassol” from Lanitis Golf Public Co. Ltd.

The infrastructure and internal road network have already been completed, and the project is now entering the final stretch for the delivery of its first residences. By May 2025, the first 22 luxury villas, ranging from three to five bedrooms, will be gradually handed over to their owners, marking the beginning of a new era for life at Limassol Greens. Meanwhile, from June 2025, the first 52 apartments, housed in two four-story buildings, will also be delivered, offering a harmonious living environment closely connected with nature.

The development of the 18-hole golf course is in an advanced stage. Featuring nine artificial lakes that serve both as natural challenges for players and as a water collection and irrigation system, the course is set to offer a top-tier experience for golf enthusiasts. The Clubhouse and state-of-the-art Driving Range are also progressing rapidly and are expected to be completed by summer. The first players will have the opportunity to enjoy the facilities from October 2025, marking a new era for golf in Cyprus.

Sunset Gardens by real estate development and management company Imperio has received overwhelming demand and investment interest from the outset, according to its CEO, Mr. Nikolas Agiomamitis, who spoke to “Entrepreneurial Limassol”. He added that, out of the 330 residences, the eastern section of the project is already sold out, while only a single-digit number of homes remain available on the western side. The CEO of Imperio emphasized that Sunset Gardens, Cyprus’ first fully gated community, is one of the country’s leading sustainable residential projects, offering a high-quality, secure, and eco-friendly lifestyle.

He also highlighted that the Sunset Gardens community has developed a strong sense of vibrancy, with residents enjoying the project’s exceptional amenities and green infrastructure. Mr. Agiomamitis further pointed out that Sunset Stays, the short-term rental and serviced apartment service, allows visitors and professionals to experience life in an innovative sustainable community, enjoying all the comforts it provides. Moreover, the steady flow of visitors enhances the community’s dynamism, fostering social interaction and contributing to the creation of a unique, thriving environment that has become a benchmark for modern urban development in Limassol.

Finally, he noted that following the resounding success of Sunset Gardens, Imperio is moving forward with IMPERIO SKYLINE in Germasogeia, a project that represents the next step in its evolution, while maintaining the company’s commitment to green features and secure community living.

The well-known residential and commercial real estate development company bbf is proceeding with four high-spec residential developments in the area surrounding the Limassol casino, as stated by its General Manager, Mr. Lefteris Constantinou. These include the modern, gated complex Salt, featuring a swimming pool, playground, and parking area, located in the rapidly developing suburb of Asomatos. In the same area, there is also the Golfside community, which offers a reception area, swimming pools, gyms, saunas, playgrounds, a playroom with a golf simulator, and a business lounge.

In the also growing Zakaki area, bbf is constructing the gated communities Fremont and Ace, both of which feature facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, and sauna. For all these developments, bbf highlights their proximity to City of Dreams Mediterranean, Cyprus’ casino resort, the newly built 18-hole golf course, Lady’s Mile beach, and Limassol’s largest shopping and entertainment center. Additionally, they are approximately 10 to 15 minutes away from the Ancient Theater of Kourion, Limassol’s old town, and the city’s Marina.

According to information obtained by “Entrepreneurial Limassol”, a global financial technology company based in Limassol has acquired a large plot of land in Trachoni area and is planning to develop around 1,000 residential units on the site. Additionally, applications have been submitted within the territory of the Kourion Municipality for the construction of two private schools, one of which will focus on athletics.
