Participation of students from MIEEK Limassol in the 3rd Mediterranean culinary competition

The students of the Post-Graduate Vocational Education and Training Institutes– MIEEK Limassol, distinguished themselves in the 3rd Mediterranean Culinary Competition, which took place in Athens from February 1st to 3rd, 2025.

Students Irini Chrysovalanto Koufou and Paraskevi Antoniou, along with Orestis Michail, from the Bakery and Pastry Program, competed in the "Restaurant Dessert F3" category, representing MIEEK Limassol with outstanding performances. Irini and Paraskevi were awarded gold medals, while Orestis secured the silver medal. Their participation was part of the Erasmus+ program.

The competition gathered talented young chefs and pastry chefs from across the Mediterranean, offering a unique opportunity for knowledge and experience exchange. The students of MIEEK Limassol impressed with their creative recipes and excellent techniques, earning praise from the judging panel.

This participation marks a significant step in their professional development and highlights the high level of education provided by the Post-Graduate Vocational Education and Training Institutes– MIEEK.

Special thanks are extended to their teachers/instructors for their dedication and guidance, as well as to the Hellenic Chefs’ Club for the excellent organization of the competition. Congratulations to our students for their exceptional performances and commitment!
