The Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, continuing its series of engagements, convened a broad meeting with Limassol stakeholders to discuss critical issues concerning the city and district.
The meeting was attended by Members of Parliament and Mayors of the city, the Limassol District Local Government Organization, the Cyprus University of Technology, the Development Agency of Lemesos, the Limassol Communities Union, and the Limassol Tourism Board.
The aim of the meeting was to unify the efforts of all parties involved so that Limassol could dynamically claim what it rightfully deserves and promote the necessary actions for its development and progress.
During the meeting, full consensus was reached among the stakeholders. Key issues concerning the city and district were placed on the table and prioritized, aiming to advance projects and initiatives that will strengthen Limassol’s development trajectory while also addressing challenges affecting both its business community and residents' daily lives.
Additionally, the foundations were laid for, shaping a vision for Limassol and developing a collective strategy for jointly pursuing the necessary projects that are crucial for the city, in line with its significant contribution to the Cypriot economy.
As the next step, it was decided to send an invitation to the President of the Republic of Cyprus and relevant Ministers to participate in a new broad meeting with the city's local stakeholders, in order to present and address these critical issues.
