The Limassol Tourism Board welcomes travel professionals and press from countries sources of tourism, all year round, and offers them a tour as well as experiences such as bread baking or wine tasting, to give them a taste of what Limassol has to offer to its discerning guests.
A group of 80 travel professionals from Europe and the Middle East were offered an engaging all-day tour, which provided an excellent opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes of Limassol.
The day began at the magnificent Kourion Theater, where tourists marveled at the ancient architecture and scenic coastal views. Following this, participants explored the historical center of Limassol, immersing themselves in the city's vibrant culture and history.
Next, the group embarked on a scenic half-hour walk to the charming village of Lania, nestled among the vineyards, known for its picturesque streets, thematic museums, and rich artisanal heritage.
Attendees also had the chance to indulge in a wine tasting experience in Doros Village, where they savored exquisite Commandaria and learned about the history and winemaking process.
By offering such memorable tours, the Limassol Tourism Board aims not only to showcase Limassol’s unique charm but also to encourage travel professionals to promote the destinations to their clientele.
