The Limassol Tourism Board in collaboration with the Limassol Police Department, created a new tourist information point within the Anexartesias street Police Station. The point serves tourist traffic that visits the shopping center of the city. The tourist information point includes a sign, a stand with printed promotional material such as maps of the city and province, information on cultural routes in the old town, cycling, hiking, public transport, special interest opportunities and landmarks of the greater Limassol. A screen also displays audiovisual promotional material.
As stated by the Chairman of the Limassol Tourism Board Mr. Tony Antoniou, the tourist information point was created when tourists visited the newly established police station at Anexartesias street, looking for information. It was therefore considered appropriate to provide the necessary material to ensure the best possible service to the tourist public in order to get acquainted with the city and province and ensure an enriched tourist experience. The Limassol Tourism Board expresses their thanks to the Limassol Police Department for their cooperation in the completion of this project.
