The very
good cooperation between the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry the Yermasoyia Municipality was highlighted in a recent meeting between the Chamber
President Andreas Tsouloftas and the Mayor Kyriakos Xydias.
The recent
visit of the Chamber President to the Municipality of Yermasoyia is part of the
regular contacts of the Chamber with the local authorities with a view to
briefing each other and bilateral coordination in the direction of serving the
development needs of greater Limassol. Mr. Xydias and Mr. Tsouloftas exchanged
views on the priorities of the Municipality and the Chamber and the latter expressed
its unconditional support for landscaping and other projects in the
Municipality, including the long-awaited seaside promenade from the point where
it is now interrupted near the Amathos river and with an easterly direction.
The Mayor
and the Chamber President also discussed the issue of local government reform,
which has been set aside for the time being, but is expected to return after
the parliamentary elections on May 30.
It is to be
noted that the Municipality of Yermasoyia is a consistent supporter of the
official online guide All About Limassol which operates under the auspices of
the Limassol Chamber and on the occasion of his meeting with Mr. Tsouloftas,
the Mayor expressed his satisfaction for the great work done at this level.
