The new projects in the Limassol district and the comparative advantages of the region as a tourist destination were highlighted in a presentation organized by the Limassol Tourism Board in collaboration with the local Department of Tourism in Tel Aviv, in the context of the IMTM tourism exhibition 2020. The event was inaugurated by the Director General of the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Theofanis Tryfonos.
There followed a presentation, Tourism Board Director Maria Stylianou Michaelidou, of contemporary Limassol and its features that make it a favorite destination for Israeli travelers. During the event a new audiovisual material was screened for the promotion of Limassol entitled #SurprisingLimassol, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXipLjGHdcE). Presentations of Parklane Resort & Spa Limassol, Amara Hotel and City of Dreams Mediterranean, the first integrated Casino Resort in Cyprus, impressed Israeli tourism professionals attending, raising the bar of luxury, technology, design and comfort that lays Limassol as a high-end tourist destination for visitors, conferences and business tourism.
