The Research and Innovation Foundation informs interested parties about a new Call for Proposals for the "Innovation Vouchers" Program (INNOVOUCERS/0722). The "Innovation Vouchers" Program is a simple and effective mechanism that allows Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to realize the importance and benefits that can arise from their involvement in research and innovation activities and, through relevant cooperation, to tap into the expertise of research and other knowledge-intensive entities that can support them to develop innovative solutions to problems they face, while strengthening their capacity for research and innovation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8RDAeSr7mI&t=3s
To facilitate cooperation, the Research and Innovation Foundation provides the interested SMEs with "Innovation Coupons" which are redeemed by organizations that will provide them with specific services and know-how of an innovative, technical or scientific nature. Each "Innovation Coupon" has a value of €5.000, out of a total budget €350.000. Funding may cover technical research and consultancy services, measurements/calculations, testing and analysis, access to research/laboratory infrastructure and design/development of a prototype service and/or product. Among the bodies that can provide services and know-how are a multitude of research organizations, academic institutions, laboratories as well as innovative and research-active companies.
The "Innovation Vouchers" Program is characterized by a relatively simple proposal submission process, short time for examination and announcement of results, as well as speed in project implementation and problem solving. The Deadline for Submission of Proposals is September 14, 2022. A first come first served principle will apply in selecting the proposals to be funded.
