The new Business Barometer (Autumn 2020) of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry is now in progress. This is the eighth edition of the Chamber Barometer, which was originally scheduled to be released in the Spring this year. However, it had to be postponed for the Autumn, due to the strict restrictive measures that were in force at the time, in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic and resulted in a large number of companies being led to complete or partial suspension of operations.
The current version of the Barometer, in addition to the questions that existed in previous editions, thus providing the ability to make comparisons and draw conclusions regarding the trends of the economy and the course of entrepreneurship, both in general and at sectoral level, includes a special inset on the effects of the pandemic on business, not only in terms of financial results, but also on the formation or not of a different work culture for companies and their employees. The deadline for participation in this edition of the Barometer, which is only for Chamber members, expires on October 16, without however excluding a short extension, in case of such a request from members. The full results of the Barometer, accompanied by relevant analyzes and graphs, are expected in November.
