The Limassol Chamber old machinery museum, named after the late LCCI President Kyriacos Hamboullas, will be inaugurated on Saturday, May 6.
H.E. the President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades, will be inaugurating the museum, who has kindly accepted an invitation extended to him by LCCI President Costas Galatariotis.
The museum, the creation of which follows a decision by the Board of the Chamber, features old machinery exhibits kindly made available to the Chamber by industrial and other companies’ members of the LCCI, as well as by organizations and the Limassol municipality. The walls of the museum are decorated with black-and-white pictures, depicting scenes of Limassol from earlier decades, in a way that the whole museum pays tribute to the economic and commercial Limassol of yesteryears.
