The income from the presale of Limassol Del Mar, which has already reached 60%, is a major “injection” of liquidity into the Cypriot economy and the development of Limassol.
The presale percentage ensures the possibility of financing the construction of the entire project and the creation of hundreds of jobs, as stated in the first official presentation.
In the presence of the ambassadors of Cyprus’ financial and business world, the first official presentation of the new development project Limassol Del Mar took place at the Four Seasons Hotel, on Tuesday 28 February 2017.
The first phase operations, which includes 81 apartments and 31 shops have begun and should be completed in 2019, while the second phase, which includes the second building of 27 floors with 87 apartments, estimated to start soon and to be completed in 2020, according to the Executive Director of D. Zavos Group and Director of the consortium Cypeir Properties Ltd, Michalis Zavos.
Zavos underlined that Limassol Del Mar today is considered one of the most important projects affecting the Cypriot economy since it offers hundreds of job opportunities, yields millions of Euros from abroad and contributes considerable millions to the country’s funds through taxes and various other contributions.
In turn, Pantelis Leptos, Deputy Chairman of Leptos Group and director of the consortium Group Cypeir Properties Ltd, noted that the amount of investment comes to 400 million Euros.
Referring to the buying interest derived by the business community, Leptos said that the project has become a buyers’ attraction of unprecedented range from all over the world and emphasised the positive local interest received from the Cypriot business community.
The event was addressed by the Minister of Finance, Harris Georgiades, who briefly elaborated on Cyprus’ recent economic and developmental advancements, and emphasised that together with other factors that projects of Limassol Del Mar’s calibre are the driving force to both its hosting city and the Cyprus’ overall economy.
Limassol Del Mar will be built on the beach front of Germasogeia and will include 186 spacious luxury apartments, two to six bedroom apartments and 31 shops. It will have 500 parking spaces, of which 146 will be provided for public use.
