With the support of the Limassol Tourism Board in the preparation of the application, Pissouri village has been awarded as one of the Best Tourist Villages, a testament to the community’s unwavering commitment to excellence in tourism and sustainable development.
Best Tourism Villages recognizes the villages which are an outstanding example of rural tourism destination with significant cultural and natural assets that preserve and promote the rural and community based values, products and lifestyle.
Pissouri is gaining visibility and international recognition as an outstanding example of a rural tourism destination and also has the opportunity to gain knowledge from best practices of other villages in the network.
