The internationalization of enterprises is a process that takes time and money

Utilizing the tools and services of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the Cypriot companies can expand their business activities abroad significantly easier.

The EEN Network maintains an up-to-date database of business, technological and research proposals (profiles) from enterprises and new innovative technologies around the world. Through the database, companies can look for partners for the products and services they offer or find solutions to technological issues of their interest. The database is accessible for free. They can subscribe to receive personalised email alerts on new requests and offers by clicking here. The profiles are evaluated by the national network Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus and the European Commission to safeguard quality with reliable and updated information and prospects (market demand) for international partnerships.

The profiles are also promoted through specific brokerage events usually organized in international exhibitions abroad with a targeted thematic section. The Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus supports the participation of Cypriot enterprises in order to boost their exports. Most brokerage events are open and have no participation fee. Interested companies can learn about the brokerage events to be carried out and for the main cooperation offers, by clicking here. From the Search section, select Profiles for Business Proposals and Events to search for brokerage events. In addition, EEN provides information to Cypriot companies interested in doing business abroad such as legal requirements and useful local market data.

More than 600 organizations are involved in the EEN Network, all renowned for their excellence in business support, including Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Institutions, Research and Technology Centers, in more than 60 countries worldwide. The Network member organizations employ approximately 3,000 staff with experience in providing services to businesses.

The EEN Network is established and active since 2008 as a European Commission initiative. It’s co-funded by the member organizations and the European Commission, through the COSME Program for Business Competitiveness and SMEs 2014-2020. The EEN Network in Cyprus is represented by a consortium of three (3) organizations, the Research Promotion Foundation as coordinator, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the European Office of Cyprus as members.
