Responding to a question from Mr. Troccaz on how EBEL faces the large building developments that are particularly evident in Limassol, the Chamber President noted that these are certainly welcome, but expectations are not exhausted in this area since EBEL looks forward to the benefits will arise from projects such as the casino, which has already been launched, as well as the Technology Park, for which the efforts of the Chamber continue.

Mr Galatariotis and Mr Troccaz also exchanged views on a number of other issues, such as the commercialization and prospects of the port of Limassol and the emerging Cypriot hydrocarbon industry in which, as is well known, the French company TOTAL. Present at the meeting were also the Chamber Honorary Secretary Kikoula Cotsapas and the French Consul Christakis Papavasiliou.
