From its emergence in the market in 1978 Lithostar has venture managed to gain a good market share as well as a very reputable name due to the variable skills of its shareholders which addressed different areas of offset printing. At that time, knowledge and experience were the key factors of success, as technology, although automated, was not yet computerized. In 1998 Lithostar settled itself in Ayios Athanasios industrial area, with the acquisition of its own premises.
Towards the end of 2005 a new shareholder invested in the venture, thus shaping the new management structure and leading Lithostar to a new era. From that day on, Lithostar began its transformation by upgrading existing machinery, acquiring new technology, using computerized systems in all its departments, hiring qualified personnel in key managerial positions, as well as having a new marketing plan and strategy, thus significantly increasing its turnover.
Nowadays Lithostar employees around 20 people. The company provides a wide range of products, supplying printing materials in a wide range of companies and organizations, including public sector, factories, hotels, construction industries, publications, packaging etc. Continuing the tradition over the years, its personnel handles every project small or large scale with the same care and enthusiasm for the “art” of printing.
Cherishing the relationship with its customers, Lithostar provides printing consultation for each project’s needs. Lithostar is in close collaboration with worldwide producing brands on paper, ink, and printing machinery so us to offer the most contemporary solutions available to its customers. It also offers its clients creative ideas on new paper trends and production techniques. Lithostar’s driving force has always been and continues to be the ongoing thirst for creativity. In an ever-changing global and domestic market environment and a declining printing market, Lithostar and its management seek new ways of adopting and transforming itself to the new challenging, but nonetheless still promising era.
