Responding to the needs and requirements of its members for timely, continuous and accurate updating on issues directly related to their business activities, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently organized, at the Limassol Chamber premises, a seminar on the modifications of the Income Tax Law, aiming not only at simply updating, but also at providing effective solutions to queries related to Benefits in Kind and the General Healthcare System.
Some of the main questions raised and answered in the seminar were how businesses can handle tax charges for payments relating to private car use and tax collection procedures for the General Healthcare System. Lecturers at the seminar were Michalis Stavridis, Strategic Tax Compliance Services Partner and Ms. Polina Iakovidou Michael, Senior Director and Academy Trainer, both from PwC.
