“Coaching for Inclusion” seminar in Malta, with Cyprus participation

Junior Chamber International (JCI) members met recently in Malta as part of the European project "Make it Count - Coaching for Inclusion", of the Erasmus + financial instrument. Erasmus + is an EU program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The meeting lasted for seven days and was attended by members from five countries (Malta, United Kingdom, Ireland, Estonia and Cyprus), with the Limassol Chamber coordinating the 6-member strong Cyprus mission.

The program included lectures and presentations by distinguished speakers in the areas of psychology, teaching and interactivity, with the aim of informing and encouraging grouping, as well as enhancing the know-how regarding innovative practices that could be used in three pillars in particular: social inclusion, young people's participation in youth entrepreneurship organizations and programs, and their education and training.

Particular emphasis was placed on the way seminars and trainings were conducted, where mentors used various tactics and group activities to enable participants to learn new methods for both training and attracting and integrating new members into their organizations.During the meeting, all participants had the opportunity to visit the European Parliament Office in Malta, where MEP Roberta Metsola and the head of the European Parliament Office Anna Zammit Vella organized a Q&A meeting focused on the issue of European Union membership.
