The second Business Forum, within the framework of the European project E-Business Pages (part of the Interreg Balkan Med transnational and territorial cooperation financial instrument) was held recently in Tirana. The Forum was a continuation of the previous one that took place in Athens in February. The Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as project partner coordinated the Cypriot mission, with the participation of 5 organizations, members of the Chamber.
The Tirana Forum program included speeches and presentations from the Albanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Albanian Investment and Development Organization, with speakers presenting the opportunities and prospects for investment and cooperation in the Balkan country. At the same time, the participating companies from Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria and North Macedonia had the opportunity to present their business activities to Albanian companies. The conference was completed with B2B meetings, providing the opportunity to develop potential business partnerships.
The e-Business Pages project provides for the encouragement to the networking and cooperation between the Balkan countries and Cyprus, the exchange and transfer of know-how and good practices and the further development of business relations in key sectors of the participating countries’ economies, aiming at enhancing competitiveness. There will be a total of five business forums, one in each of the five countries participating in the program.
