The 4th transnational meeting of the partners of the Interreg Balkan-Mediterranean InnoPlatform program was held recently at the premises of the National Centre for Research and Technological Development in Thessaloniki. The meeting was an opportunity for projects partners to review what had already been achieved in terms of deliverables and presentations were made on project aspects, including the following:
· General project management
· Communication and promotional planning
· Results of Work Package (WP) 4 survey on the Business Innovation Model in the Balkans and the Mediterranean region
· Completion of the five InnoTools
· Establishment and operation of Centers of Excellence and i-Labs
Particular emphasis was placed on the guidance of companies benefiting from Centers of Excellence. This action also represents the ultimate goal in which all the activities of InnoPlatform, which aims to support Businesses and Organizations for the Development of Innovative Products, Services and Operational Tactics, essentially converge. The project is part of the Interreg Balkan Med transnational co-operation tool, with priority on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and will be completed in July; the ultimate aim being to continuously improve and maintain a cooperation network to support innovation in the Balkans and Cyprus region. The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a project partner.
