The whole spectrum of business relations between Limassol and St. Petersburg was on the agenda of a recent meeting held in the Russian city between representatives of the two Chambers of Commerce & Industry. The meeting was part of a Limassol mission to St. Petersburg in mid-November, led by Mayor Nicos Nicolaides.
St. Petersburg Chamber Vice President, Ekaterina Lebedeva the Limassol Chamber Vice President in charge of International Relations Heros Miltiadous engaged in a comprehensive dialogue on issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on the business opportunities offered by the two cities. The two sides agreed there were a lot of business similarities and complementarities to capitalize on and to that end the need has been highlighted for the organization in the year 2018, of joint business seminars and the exchange of business missions.
At the St. Petersburg Chamber meeting, was also the Mayor of Limassol Nicos Nicolaides, in addition to the President of the Limassol Tourism Board Tony Antoniou and Cyprus Consul Antonis Assos and the Limassol Municipality Town Clerk Georgoulla Leonida.
