The new Business
Barometer of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry is now in progress,
having been launched on April 5. The present (Spring 2021) is the 9th edition
of the Barometer and like all the previous ones, it aims to take the pulse of
the Chamber member companies, to highlight dominant trends and to
record assessments and forecasts for the immediate future.
Just like the
immediate past edition (Autumn 2020), the current one again includes a special
inset on the effects and implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on business, not
only in terms of direct economic impact, but also in terms of the possible
creation of a new work culture (working from home, etc)
Chamber members
will have the opportunity to participate in the Barometer, in either Greek or
English, until the afternoon of Monday, April 26, and the findings, along with
analysis and pertinent charts, will be announced in May.
The Chamber urges
all its members to participate in the Barometer, emphasizing that this is a
project the findings of which are a policy-making tool, with the aim of
properly documented promotion of the issues that concern the Limassol business
society.
