Research and Innovation Foundation Online Seminars

The Research and Innovation Foundation is conducting a series of free online seminars, giving participants the opportunity to learn about ways in which they can successfully claim funding from a wide range of European programs. The purpose a total of 14 total webinars is to present new and existing European funding programs for research and innovation, through an interactive process, in which Foundation executives outline analyse the steps required for proper preparation, while guiding participants on the proper writing and submission of proposals.

The webinars, which commenced on May 14 and will go on until-mid July are conducted in the Greek language and can accommodate up to 50 participants each. Past its completion, each webinar that each seminar is posted on the Foundation's YouTube channel. Three webinars took place in May, one on Covid19 -related funding opportunities from the Horizon 2020 program, the new series European Union (EU) Programs known as Horizon Europe, and on available employment opportunities for experienced researchers abroad through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions - Individual Fellowships.

June & July seminars will be on,
•   The Green Deal – Complete guide - Presentation of the new EU Program "The Green Deal Call" with a budget of €1 billion. Its ultimate goal is to strengthen the strategy for a more sustainable, cleaner and healthier European economy.
•  MSCA – IF: how to write a successful proposal – A workshop on writing proposals for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-Individual Fellowships. It will include a detailed explanation of the forms, practical examples, exercises and problem solving.
•  COST: Building Networks & Sharing Ideas - Promoting opportunities for pan-European networking and collaboration, through the European COST Program, in scientific and technological research.
•  18/06: The new era of EU SME support - European Innovation Council - Presentation of the pilot and upgraded European Innovation Council which provides support to the most innovative entrepreneurs, companies and scientists with radical ideas and growth prospects in the international market. It combines funding, consulting support and networking opportunities for the top innovation ideas.
•  H2020 – Reporting - The purpose of the webinar is to familiarize participants with the process of submitting deliverables, reports and payment requests as part of the implementation of projects funded by the H2020 Program.
•  H2020 Proposal Writing - The Excellence Section, The Impact Section, The Implementation Section - Three seminars which are essentially an introduction to the process of preparing successful research proposals in Horizon 2020. 
•  H2020 Successful Proposal – Interview with a Coordinator - Live interview with a Coordinator for a Successful Proposal in the H2020 Program, in order to discuss what is required for a proposal to be competitive and what really accounts for a successful proposal.
•  H2020 Evaluation Process – Interview with an Evaluator - Presentation of the research proposal evaluation process in Horizon 2020 through an interactive interview with an experienced evaluator.
