In order to raise public awareness on recycling issues, a cooperation agreement was signed recently between the Green Dot Cyprus) and the Nicosia District Transport Organization (OSEL). Under the deal, Green Dot has placed 1100-liter PMD buckets at four OSEL stations, to be used by bus passengers. Specifically, buckets have been placed at the bus stations at Makario Stadiium, Alambra, General Hospital and Lakatamia. Through this initiative, the two companies seek to help the bus users recycle their packaging. Future joint actions and initiatives aimed at fostering a culture that promotes recycling are also planned.
