A.N.T. Metallofabrica Ltd was founded by Andreas Tavrides back in 1982 and is a member of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry since 1986. A.N.T. Metallofabrica Ltd specialises in the production and installation of custom-made stainless steel equipment for a wide range of industries: catering, hotels, restaurants, bars, bakeries, butcheries, food processing, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, etc.
How was the company led in this sector?
Andreas Tavrides, who was for many years production manager at Amiantos Asbestos Mine, had a hobby: to manufacture and fix machinery, so back in 1982 he opened a small workshop in the area. But his dreams were not confined to the narrow limits of Troodos mountains, so making all the necessary steps, he chose to move the company to Limassol (Agios Athanasios Industrial Estate) foreseeing that the proximity of the port would provide a new impetus to the company. The company began operating as a steel and machinery manufacturer but soon strong demand of stainless steel catering equipment absorbed the greatest part of its operations.
What is the range of your products?
Our range of products includes hood-exhaust and ventilation systems, tables, cabinets, sinks, rack shelving systems, trolleys and many others. We produce equipment according to customised designs and plans. This enables our customers to choose solutions which are optimally-suited for their specific facility, and have a cost-effective and ergonomic choice for their needs. Our recent activities include importing and distributing indoor and outdoor furniture for banqueting venues, outdoor electrical & gas heaters. In addition, we manufacture custom-made stainless steel furniture e.g. stools, tables, bars. Moreover, we manufacture custom-made barbeque grills for industrial or domestic use.
