The city of Bitola, in North Macedonia, recetly hosted the 3rd Business Forum, held within the framework of the European project E-Business Pages, which is part of the Interreg Balkan Med Interregional and Territorial Cooperation Financial Instrument. The Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as project partner, coordinated the Cypriot mission with the participation of five companies – all Chamber members. The Forum's program included lectures and presentations by distinguished speakers in the fields of industry and start-ups, as well as an extended briefing on the e-Business Pages program by Dr. Igor Nedelkovski, representative of North Macedonia’s Gauss Institute.
Addressing the Forum, Limassol Chamber Senior Officer, in charge of Research, Innovation and European Programs, Nicolas Iordanou, referred to the importance of implementation of the e-Business Pages project, through which encouragement is provided for networking and cooperation between enterprises of the Balkan countries and Cyprus, in addition to the exchange and transfer of expertise and best practices and the further development of business relations in key sectors of the economy in these countries with a view to the strengthening competitiveness. Forum participants from Cyprus, Greece, Albania and Bulgaria subsequently had the opportunity of presenting their business activities and line of expertise. There followed B2B meetings aiming to explore possibilities for mutually beneficial business cooperation.
