Athens hosted, between February 25 and 28, the First Business Forum in the context of the European E-Business Pages program, which is part of the Interreg Balkan Med Interregional and Territorial Cooperation Financial Instrument. The Limassol Chamber, as a program partner, was in charge of coordinating the Cyprus mission to the forum, which comprised five Chamber members.
The Forum's program included speeches and presentations by distinguished speakers in the fields of economy and entrepreneurship, and information on the up-to-date evolution of the e-Business Pages program. At the same time, the participating companies from Cyprus, Albania, Bulgaria and North Macedonia had the opportunity to present their business activities to Greek companies. Concluding the Forum were B2B meetings.
The e-Business Pages project provides for encouragement for networking and cooperation between the Balkan countries and Cyprus, the exchange and transfer of know-how and good practices and the further development of business relations in key sectors of the participating countries’ economies, aiming at enhancing competitiveness.
There will be total of five business forums, one in each of the five countries participating in the program.
